My April in pictures and words

Hello!! I know it's been lllooonnnggg. Been so overwhelmed with work and catching up on my rest which was deprived over the birthday month..

Have too many pictures that I have to blog about. Just got done with uploading them onto facebook. It took me 1 whole day!!! (Okay fine with breaks in between hahaha) I had like close to 400 just for myself and 350 for SJ because she borrowed my DSLR from me for her birthday which she celebrated in .. yes you got it. Universal Studios Singapore.. YET AGAIN HAHAHAHA. Ohmy and yes you'll be seeing pictures of Universal Studios Singapore on this space pretty soon again.

Had yummy food especially curry that Granny cooked. BBq too I didn't really eat because they had pork chops and I don't eat pork. So after cake cutting was the supposingly kids' game - waterbomb. Swear I didn't have the intention to play but instead just stand at the side laughing at the funny wet people. Don't remember how I was lured into the game as well and not just me, the entire family!! Even poor Horlick hahaha.

What a night. I miss it. Oh and Granny was there too except UncleBee sent her home early because she had a long day and still have work tomorrow. In need of more family days like this. *megawatt smile

Kaijie's 8th Birthday 


Woke up early for Taima's son's 8th birthday! Swear little kids parties are ssssooo different than us because their party starts at 10.fucking.am.in.the.morning.oh.my.god!!!!! & you see all the kids happily running around with 100%energy.

Got a shock upon reaching because after seeing what we did for Soopeng's birthday, Taima decided to have a waterbomb session for the kids party and LOOOK AT HOW MANY WATERBOMBS SHE PREPARED. She actually spent 2 hours on this...

It was a kids party so we just sat at the side.. and watched haha! Still it looked fun! Would be paradise if I were an 8 YO too. 

Met my dear happy gluttons SY and Stephanie Carparky in town for supposingly dinner which turned out as my surprise present hunting as I have said earlier before this post! But I'm so happy about it I'm gonna talk about it again teheheheheee. Brought them to Pique-Nique but I was so sad they find it mehhhhh only. Should have wenta Ajisen instead.

Carparky had the mac and cheese I had when I was here the first time but she didn't like it as much as I did wehhhh!!! I shall come up with a better place next time. But at least I scored with the ambience right? It's a real pretty place! & yea after that was my happy surprise where they bought me a New Era cap which I love so much that I wore it in all my 21st birthday party pictures hahahah!!!

 Oh I just have to tell you guys this I was just telling them in the whatsapp group convo about how both their pictures are misty but turned out fine in my after theirs are taken, this Carparky was saying 'Ohh we're glowing! And we're actually your secret guardian angels.' OHMYGAWDGUYZZZZ HAHAHAH!!

Heh that's all for tonight's post and I'll be back because I have 600 over pictures waiting for me to put them up on this space. After the quality check I'll most probably still have 200 over of them ohmy. Alright time to hit the sacks for now. Taking the transformers set for tomorrow. AUTOBOTS ROLLING OUT. And speaking of that the news about us having a change of uniform is really worrying me. I LOVE MY CURRENT UNIFORM SIGHSSSSS. Please don't change into 1 which will highlight my perspire (I am the king of perspire) or make me look fat PLEASEEE WITH 9999 RED FAT CHERRIES ON TOP OKBAI!

A Day With Granny

A day planned to bring Granny to Singapore General Hospital for her blood test taken which failed miserable because I overslept. How bad I felt!!! We ended up having our brunch at 4ish in Hougang. So she was saying how we haven't done this lunch by ourselves thing for quite some time so she ordered tons of food and look at how happy she was!!! (:

Walked around the mall while waiting for Berny to find us to go home together and she was eyeing on this top so I insisted to pay for her. So as usual she'll be refusing and we'll cause a din in the shop but I outsmarted her and ganged up with the cashier this time bahahhaha!!

Spent some time with her before I left for home. Decided to head down SGH tomorrow AND I WILL MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!!

A day out with my Happy Gluttons.

Had dinner with my happy gluttons SY and Carparky!! Didn't know it was a scheme they came up with to get me to choose the present I wanted awwww!!! They were whispering in front of me when I was on the phone and I was so sad and thinking what did I do wrong hahaha. They told me SY wanted to get a New Era cap and I was thinking just nice I could see what I want but I'll most prolly get it next month since I'm pretty broke this month.

Sweetest things ever. Didn't expect sucha pricey present from the 2 of them. Have already come up with something for them I can't wait!!! (:

Twenty First

Hit 21st finally!! Celebrated it in Marina Bay Sands with my love ones for 3D2N. Will be doing a post dedicated to the day itself because there's tons of pictures and NONE in my camera because everyone was just snapping away. Gonna compile everything together and do up a really long post. Here's 1 before that!!

Celebrating HSJ's 22nd & Far Far Away's 22nd

Had brunch with Granny and HSJ to pre celebrate her 22nd since she'll be celebrating it in Festive hotel on the 10th May 2012. Kinda miss times like this where 3 of us'd have the time to sit down, talk, laugh and have desserts together.

Left to celebrate Farrah's belated 22nd and have I mentioned we have the same birthdays!?? How amazing. (: That's like what the 6th person I know with the same birthday? Had dinner at Breeks Cafe where I only had soup because I was still pretty full.

I look as if I'm constipated but ugh whatevaaaa I'm kewl loike dat with my xiaolongnu(according to @lowjasmine) hairstyle.

Okay I'm gonna turn in soon. Long day tomorrow with Universal Studios Singapore(YES AGAIN) starting off and SGH in the evening. Goodnight folkies!!!

PIQUE-NIQUE

I hope this works as well as I'm blogging using the lappy. Using blogger app on the iPad now uploading pictures.

Met up with my dearest primary school best friend JL today!! (: Extended for 30 minutes after work because I had to escort the parade. First time being in charge of stilts and boy was I worried!! Thank goodness everything went well. So grateful for swthrt SY and Yulin for giving a shit to all my questions. Also thankful for Syufian Ahmad for telling me what to do and stuffs. Never knew he's sucha nice chap! (: Kinda like how working more frequently has allowed me to know of my colleagues better.

Rushed down to Orchard and wanted to have Teppanyaki only to realise they're currently under renovation boohoohoo. To think I was all excited the whole of today!! However piqué-nique wasn't that bad either. Loved the poached egg on my mac&cheese cabonara!!! So sinful but it's cheat weekends baby!!!! JL had some cheese Tokyo burger and it was so good that I'm gonna have that the next time I'm there. Never liked the idea of pinching my friend's share of food because a portion means a portion and if I'm eating theirs how can they be full? But I'm definitely fine with people taking mine cause I tend to think of the bright side which is I get to eat lesser heh!!!

Fixed my artease honey milk bubble crave and I feel kinda bad I'm always making her stuff herself with desserts after dinner with me bahaha. Had a long talk and it was really nice. (: it's almost like pouring out my whole week of shit to her and I feel so much better.

Did I mention she got me an early birthday present too? It's a book on dogs behavior just because I told her I'll be taking up pets grooming so she thought it would be useful for me to do some studies on dogs behaviors. HOW FUCKIBG SWEET CAN SHE GET?! Hello April!

2nd April 2012, Tuesday

Met up with Clarakow finally! (: So glad we did. Have been pretty broke during the month of March due to Horlick's vet bills, dog food and the fact that I was happily not working for the whole of February self declaring it a holiday month. Since there was about $600++ of angpow money I was thinking it'd last me for quite sometime since I'd most prolly just stay home with Horlick and play some guitar because that makes me perfectly happy. However she got sick so we had like what, 2 visits to the vet?! Not forgetting because I spent like weeks at Granny's when she was hospitalized and also after she went home, I always offer to pay when we go out and stuffs. Kinda left me pretty penniless.

So I got my pay on the 28th and finally set a lunch date!! We had SO MUCH stuffs to update each other about. Especially her ^^ I'm so glad she's really happy with a boy name Dexter now. Tho she calls me her 2nd lover(which I made her emphasize on me bahaha) ((Oh however I got somehow upgraded to her first lover after we went home but I think I'm back to square one now)) but oh wells!!! I'm still happy for her!!! (: (: 

We had soup spoon for lunch at Raffles City and went around looking for her 1st month anniversary present while I looked around for 5 belated birthday presents. FUCKING FIVE!!!! Wtf is this shit. However I only managed to get 1 so I'm gonna set another day to continue presents hunting. 

So she got herself this really pair of wtf-do-I-call-it-ugh-I'm-really-bad-at-footwear-categories-I-shall-just-call-it-FOOTWEAR from New Look. It was pretty pricey but I made her or 'brainwashed' which she calls , buy it. I would have gotten it myself if I didn't have such small feet eeks. 

Left her and met CindyTan for gym session. Attended Bodycombat and ABT classes sweated like a pig. However still glad I made it and gonna resume the whole hitting the gym weekly thing. Just couldn't stand the fact that I've been throwing California Fitness free money for the past few months MEH!

Soo few days back which I forgot when, Stephanie and I picked up a $50 note on New York Streets during our Mae West set. Like seriously?!! Topped my highest record which was $20 if I'm not wrong, which happened in USS as well! HAHAHHA!! Returned it to Lost and Found department and made sure they wrote the lost and found report form least you know... their greed got the better out of them. 

Took a picture to commemorate our honesty BAHAHAHAHA!!! Like hey!! It's a fucking $50 not $5! 

So for today I headed to the gym in the morning and met Yammy and Low for lunch and basketball in the evening. Missed them so much I swear. They never fail to make me laugh. (: We were laughing half the time during our 90 minutes of basketball. I need more of these in my life seriously. Kinda wish everyday would be as happy as today. 

Sidetrack a lil, it kinda breaks my heart that I feel that Horlick and I aren't really that close anymore. Weeks back when I was just staying home with her we were so close that she follows me everywhere around the house. Nowadays I'll be away for work like 10 hours and some days I have to attend gym classes thus it's really so much lesser than the time we used to spend together. I was kinda hoping it's all only gonna be temporary until her heat(menses for dogs) finishes since I read up and they say dogs tend to act weirdly when they're on heat. Of course I'd love to stay home and spend time with her but because I'm the one paying for all her food, shampoos and toys and they're really not that cheap based on the fact that she is so choosy that she has to eat both wet food and kibbles together when most of my friends just feed their dogs the latter. And also because of her sensitive stomach and fragile little body I have to set aside some emergency money in case she needs the vet someday (ChoyChoyChoy!!!). 

Oky doks, it's 12 and I should be hitting the sacks. Work for 4 consecutive days starting tomorrow and overtime for 3 days because of an event. Squeezed in 1 gym session since I've already attended 2 this week. Hope it all follows through. Fingers crossed, for Horlick and I as well! Goodnight folkies!
